Pasta 101

This event will take place virtually on Zoom!

What’s in a shape? Well, for pasta it can tell you a lot about where it’s from, what kind of sauce it’s best served with, and more! We’ll talk about some of our favorite pasta producers, what to look for on a package when you’re shopping for pasta, and all the ways we love to eat pasta- especially in the warm summer months! Join two of our biggest pasta enthusiasts, Deli Managing Partner and lead pasta buyer, Grace Singleton, and Events Assistant Connor Valone, for Pasta 101 on Zoom. We’ll talk about some of our favorite pasta producers, what to look for on a package when you’re shopping for pasta, and all the ways we love to eat pasta in the summer, from pesto bucatini to a classic Riviera-style pasta salad.

This class and tasting is TOTALLY VEGETARIAN! Your tasting kit will include 6 different ways to enjoy pasta, including some of our favorite sauces, a couple cold salads, and a few unique twists!

This is a great class for pasta lovers and those looking to learn a bit more about artisan pasta and pasta making, as well as those who just want to know how we love to eat the very best pasta in the world that we’re lucky to sell off of our shelves.

LOGISTICS:

• The Zoom link will be mailed to you at least 2 days before the event
• Your tasting kits will be ready for pickup or delivery the day before the event.  You will be emailed with more specific information.
