Jennie’s Top 10 Egg-cellent Spring Picks

Hop into spring with a colorful array of spring confections! Here’s our list of seasonal finds including Easter chocolate bunnies, chocolate filled eggs and springtime sweets.
Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory Filled Fudge Eggs
This much anticipated Easter confection from our own candy company is available in two flavors:
Peanut Butter & Jelly Eggs – crafted with old-fashioned, brown-butter peanut butter fudge topped with a dollop of seedless raspberry jam, covered with a shell of dark chocolate.
Almond Fudge Eggs – Lush almond paste from Mandelin, California’s premiere almond producer, and browned butter chocolate fudge is bathed in dark chocolate and sprinkled with toasted almonds to put it over the top!
Chocolat Moderne’s Painted Eggs
No hollow eggs here! Brimming with a variety of textures and flavors, these almost-too-beautiful-to-eat chocolate eggs are from one of our favorite producers, Chocolat Moderne out of New York City. Each egg measures about 3 inches in length, weighing just under two ounces – the equivalent of 4 Chocolat Moderne bonbons. Inspired by the vivid style of painters from the Fauve movement, owner Joan Coukos hand-paints each egg with vibrant spring colors. These are limited in number and won’t last long!
Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel: Sea salted caramel encased with a rich milk chocolate shell.
Raspberry Filled: Dark chocolate shell filled with raspberries and blended into creamy dark chocolate ganache.
Espresso Caramel: White chocolate shell filled with buttery caramel infused with espresso, and sprinkled with sea salt.
Almond Crunch: Caramelized almonds and dark praline encased in a white chocolate shell.
Kolsvart Swedish Fish
True Swedish fish from Malmö, Sweden! Kolsvart has created a line of all natural, vegan & gluten free Swedish fish that pull in both Nordic flavors as well as some classic options too. Every bag is designed to represent a specific fish from the waters around Sweden and a portion of every purchase is donated to support the natural habitats of Sweden’s fish populations. Available in Sour Blueberry, Sour Raspberry, Salted & Smoked Licorice, Elderflower, and Blackcurrant & Raspberry.
Grocer’s Daughter Filled Eggs
Michigan made in Empire, MI these large chocolate bonbons molded into a classic egg shape, brimming with two different flavors: Milk Chocolate – filled with Michigan honey caramel and local heavy cream, finished with smoked sea salt or Dark Chocolate – filled with rich, creamy peanut butter
The Matzo Project Ungapotchkies
Started by two friends in Brooklyn, NY this new company has decided to put a fun spin on matzo. Available in both Dark Chocolate with Coconut or Milk Chocolate with Peanuts.
French Floral Candies
These hard candies are a garden bouquet of flavor, sweetened with a touch of honey. Available in a mixed bag of rose & verbena, these colorful expressions of Spring are sure to bring you joy and are a good balance to the typical Easter chocoloate.
Pick-up a bag of this Michigan-made buttery toffee, topped in either dark or milk chocolate and sprinkled with toasted pecans. With its addictive balance of salty and sweet, you might need another bag!
