New at the Deli: Boonville Barn Collective
a small farm that produces hard to find chile powders in Boonville, California
Deli Managing Partner, Grace Singleton says “I’m really excited about Boonville Barn Collective! I’ve been using their Classic Piment d’Ville in almost everything I cook over the last few months. It’s got a really nice fool flavored heat without being over powering.” If you like it a bit hotter, we are also carrying the Spicy Piment d’Ville.
Citrus and Chile Marmalade is a great marmalade with the addition of their chiles. Grace suggests using this marmalade on a cheese boards, on top of cream cheese canapes, or as a glaze for pork or chicken.
Whole dried Espelette Chile Peppers are really impressive as well. They are beautifully dried- not crushed or broken at all.
Gideon & Krissy own and run Boonville Farm Collective. They grow, dry, and grind chile peppers into high quality spices using sustainable agricultural techniques to produce healthy food without compromising future generations’ ability to do the same. Their farm is located 100 miles north of San Francisco and is Renegade certified.
