Small Bite Sessions: Cheddar

Small Bite Sessions is a 30-minute, affordably priced tasting class designed to introduce you to some of our favorite foods, while guiding you through a delicious compare-and-contrast of different versions of the same food. Similar to our other tasting classes, you’ll learn about the producers, flavor profiles, and get a taste of each variation!
This tasting is all about CHEDDAR! Cheddar began as a farmhouse cheese in southwest England centuries ago and somehow became one of the most copied cheeses on earth. Traditional Bristish-style clothbound cheddar still carries a remarkable sense of place: grassy milk, deep savory complexity, crumbly texture, and long nutty finishes shaped by time and aging. American-style Cheddar is more tangy, “sharp”, and has a smoother finish. You’ll join Deli cheesemonger Daniel B and taste a curated lineup of artisan cheddars – you really can taste the taste the difference in one of the world’s most popular cheeses!
