Jali Fruit Co. participates in over 40 farm cooperatives in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean to save fruit from spoiling by training women farmers and providing simple machines to dry the fruit. 67% of the farmers they work with are women. Jali Fruit Co. sells these high-quality, premium products through direct trading with these smallholder farmers. By working directly with farmers, they cut out the middle and make sure every batch of dried fruit is ethically-sourced with quality top of mind.

In this Peek Inside the Deli Kitchen cook-along experience, Deli Events Coordinator Tessie Ives-Wilson will be joined Jen Kuhn, Chief Brands Officer at Jali Fruit Co. and Chef Liz from Santosha Nutrition. They will talk about the fruits and farmers that make these delicious dried fruits and will walk you through how to make a Pineapple Curried Rice with the Sun Dried Pineapple from Jali Fruit Co.
