In Ann Arbor, Fall means football! Zingerman’s Deli is a fixture of UM tailgating, and you can make the Zingerman’s experience a part of your tailgating party this year with our full-flavored traditional food! There are three easy ways to enjoy our menu this Fall: curbside pickup at the Delicatessen, direct delivery to your tailgate party, OR work with our event planners to coordinate your event at any location, including our very own Greyline, Revel XP, and North End Zone!
Our Tasty Tailgate Menu
Our Big House BBQ offers a choice of spicy Cuban pork, hand-pulled BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, or Italian sausages with peppers and onions. Enjoy them on our Bakehouse rolls with sides of redskin potato salad, crudite with ranch and roasted red pepper dip, and a Black Magic brownie and cookie basket!
We also offer Complete Classic Deli Trays, with which you can build your own favorite Zingerman’s sandwich with our Bakehouse Rye and Farm breads, lean corned beef, all-natural turkey, lean pastrami, and Nueske’s applewood-smoked ham along with Swiss Emmental and Wisconsin Muenster cheese. This tray comes with redskin potato salad and coleslaw, pickles, olives, mayonnaise, yellow and brown mustard, and Russian dressing. Zingerman’s Bakehouse Rye & Farm bread.
If meat isn’t your cup of tea, or you have vegetarian guests, we offer a vegetarian version that includes roasted asparagus, wood-smoked artichokes, roasted red bell peppers, and portobello mushrooms. Top these hearty veggies with roasted onion, fresh spinach, provolone cheese, Zingerman’s Creamery goat cheese, lettuce and tomato. We also include our house-made marash feta dip, roasted red pepper spread, and pesto mayo.
New this year,we are featuring breakfast sandwiches–perfect for those noon games when you start tailgating in the morning! Toasted Zingerman’s Bakehouse Zing-lish Muffins with a fresh farm egg and Vermont cheddar cheese. Available with or without bacon. Wrapped in foil for easy noshing. Pair it with our fruit salad, fresh-squeezed OJ and plenty of brewed coffee and you’ll be ready for kickoff!

North End Zone
Zingerman’s Catering and Events has exclusive access to the North End Zone, only 50 yards from The Big House but secluded in a wooded setting with picnic tables, tents, a blue stone patio and a commercial Weber grill. Enjoy the game on the outdoor flat screen TV or the 7-foot projection TV screen equipped with outdoor speakers. On chillier or rainy days, relax in the 1000 square-feet clubhouse with an indoor bathroom, complete kitchen, and large fieldstone fireplace! You can choose to throw the party yourself, or if you’re hosting a big crowd and want some tasty tailgate fare, reach out to Zingerman’s Catering and Events and let us help! You can feel good throwing your party at North End Zone, too– a portion of proceeds go to the T. Greyline
Zingerman’s very own Greyline is available for this tailgating season! All your favorite Zingerman’s Deli foods PLUS a dance floor, bar, and a designated sound sub panel available for DJ’s or bands,. Turn a simple tailgating event into a true party. Enjoy the game (maybe even when the Wolverines are playing away) with our built-in projector near the bar and our free wifi (tested many times to ensure its capacity for large groups!). There is a designated charging station near the bar that includes a variety of different power cord styles for you and your guests to revive their portable electronic devices. Tables and chairs, glassware, flatware, and basic linens are included with your rental– any special requests can be discussed during your event planning! Convenient parking is available nearby, with a surface lot that is across the street from the space and a multi story garage just down the block. (Valet parking is also an option.) Tailgater Concierge
Tailgater Concierge is a new partner of Zingerman’s Catering and Events this tailgate season! They provide a turn-key experience with a special Zingerman’s menu and exclusive space at Pioneer High School. They supply you with equipment, handle the set-up and take-down of your event and are available on-site to help you with anything you may need during the event! They offer packages that serve up to 50 people, but can easily create a custom package for any sized group.Special add ons include bluetooth speakers, high top round tables, cornhole and bags, beer pong tables, propane BBQ grill and utensils, and a satellite television!
This year, Tailgater Concierge offers a special Zingerman’s catering menu. Order assortments of scones, bagels and cream cheese, fruit salad, seasonal muffins, and coffeecakes from the Bakehouse for as many as 30 guests for a game-day brunch. Breakfast burritos are also available for groups of 15 or more. For a heartier lunch or dinner, choose the deli sandwich basket to have a selection of Zingerman’s sandwiches, potato chips, pickles, and brownies from our Bakehouse! For parties over 15 people, we have Grab-and-Go Tailgate. If you’re serving a BBQ-loving crowd, opt for A Maiz-ing Tailgate or Zingerman’s Touchdown Tailgate! Revel XP
Revel XP (formerly known as Tailgate Guys) has a collection of great tailgate packages for you to create your perfect game day experience! Rent anything from a 10 square-foot tent with a table and chairs for a small family gathering, to an elaborate large-scale party for a crowd. They have premium tailgate locations AND a special Zingerman’s catering menu. They also let you create a custom event package for game day (and non-game day settings).
