Zingerman’s Deli rolls out
the Biker’s Band Aid.
Out and about around town on your bike? Whether you need to refuel with a reuben sandwich, a quick latte pick me up, or find yourself challenged with a minor mechanical problem Zingerman’s Deli can help. We’ve always had an air hose available to pump up tires, but we also added in a bikers tool kit that we’re calling the biker’s band aid. It contains, tubes, a patch kit, some basic tools you’d need for minor repairs to get you home, or help you make it to your local bike shop to get anything more major taken care of.
A big thanks go to Two Wheel Tango for stocking the station for us, and to Pete Jensen – our favorite Carpenter and builder who helped us by building the box.

Routes 1 and Route 2X: Get off bus at Kerrytown (Fifth/Kingsley). Zingerman’s Deli is across the street.
Route 2: Take bus to Blake Transit Center (BTC). Transfer to route 12A – get off bus at Kerrytown (Catherine/Fourth). Zingerman’s is about a three minute walk from there. Walk east on Catherine to Detroit St. Walk north on Detroit St. for several blocks to Zingerman’s. Alternatively, walk from the BTC (11 minutes). Walk north on Fourth to Catherine. East on Catherine (half-block) to Detroit St. North on Detroit St. to Zingerman’s.
From the East/Southeast (including Ypsilanti):
Route 3: Get off the bus at Ann/State. Zingerman’s is about a six minute walk from there. Walk north on State for one block to Catherine. Walk west on Catherine to Detroit St. Walk north on Detroit St. for several blocks to Zingerman’s.
Routes 4, 5, 6, 7, 14: Take bus to the Blake Transit Center. Transfer to route 12A – get off bus at Kerrytown (Catherine/Fourth). Zingerman’s is about a three minute walk from there. Walk east on Catherine to Detroit St. Walk north on Detroit St. for several blocks to Zingerman’s.
Alternatively, walk from the Blake Transit Center (11 minutes). Walk north on Fourth to Catherine. East on Catherine (half-block) to Detroit St. North on Detroit St. to Zingerman’s.
From the South:
