DESCRIPTION:This event will take place virtually on Zoom!\n \nWe are delighted to welcome special guest Laura Werlin to happy hour with us! Laura is a James Beard Award-winning author of six books on cheese! She has a passion for and expertise of artisan cheese and wine\, including the wines of the Ribera y Rueda regions of Spain\, which we are featuring for this event. We are sure that you will wish we had more than an hour together to hear about Laura’s travels in Spain and what she loves about the combination of wine and cheese we’ve chosen for this event. Laura is a highly sought after speaker at food and wine festivals around the country and we are so excited that she’s sharing her time with us at Zingerman’s. \nYour host for the evening is Deli Events Assistant\, Connor Valone\, who will guide the conversation with Laura and share his experience from behind the cheese counter at the Deli and the tips and tricks he has for pairing with wine and the stories behind the foods we love. You heard that right! We’re bringing back our annual Paella Party on the Patio – and it’s bigger and better than ever! We’re ready to fire up the grills\, dust off the flagstones and get ourselves ready to party afuera. This year’s party is a ticketed affair that gets you access to a family style paella meal\, grilled padron peppers\, tapas stations\, Spanish wine samples\, a cooking demonstration and VIP after hours shopping (with a 20% off discount)! \nChef Rodger and his team will be cooking up paella 3 ways: seafood\, chicken and vegetarian. They’ll demonstrate how to prepare paella step-by-step\, serve you family style.
