DESCRIPTION:This event will take place virtually on Zoom!\nZingerman’s Next Door Café’s chocolate corner offers a full spectrum of all things cacao from the traditional to the avant-garde.  Our Chocolate Specialist Jennie B constantly curates our offerings\, which has expanded over the past few years to include a variety of hot cocoa and drinking chocolate from around the world\, like Paris’s Angelina’s and NYC’s Chocolat Moderne. We keep up on the latest news in chocolate and stay in close touch with our vendors to make sure we are always bringing you new and noteworthy offerings. \nLet’s get cozy in this Chocolate 201 class\, Jennie will take you on a delicious journey of all our favorite Hot Cocoa from Around the World. Drinking chocolates are some of the oldest forms of chocolate\, originating in Central America. We’ll taste through some of our favorite drinking chocolates and cocoa’s and talk about the different styles\, how to prepare them\, and some of our favorite serving suggestions and additions.  You will want hot water and warm milk (dairy or alternative) available at home for this tasting – we’ll be making them together as we taste! \nWe think this event would be perfect for a variety of audiences; ages 1-99 will want to gather the family around for a fun night of warm and cozy learning! Pencil in that date night and get the fireplace roaring! Or share a slightly distanced night out with your bestie from each of your own homes. \nPlease note: Some of the cocoa contains dairy and we cannot make substitutions.
