DESCRIPTION:This event will take place IN PERSON at Zingerman’s Delicatessen!\nWe’re raising our cider glasses in a toast to flavor\, friendship\, and the joys of al fresco dining! We’re throwing a party in partnership with Fra’ Mani\, maker of the world’s best salumi and other fine food and JK’s Farmhouse Cider\, a centennial Michigan family farm and maker of organic cider. We invite you to join us at our Fra’ Mani Festa Al Fresco!! \n\nYour ticket to this event includes the exclusive opportunity to try Mike’s Marvelous Morty Masterpiece\, the winning sandwich from Fra’ Mani’s Mortadella Sandwich Contest. This past summer\, we went face-to-face with some of the most talented and creative sandwich shops in the country … AND WE WON! And now we’re bringing our sandwich creation to you\, at this celebratory party on our patio! \n\nThis sandwich creation was dreamed up by our Sandwich Line manager Mike V and it manifests a mega morty mouthful of flavor (we double dog dare you to say that three times fast). Mike marries Fra’ Mani Mortadella with garlic scape mayo\, beer battered tomatillos and Michigan arugula and then muscles it between two massive slices of Zingerman’s Bakehouse white bread. Mighty magical\, if we do say so ourselves. \nOur kitchen will be cooking up some fabulous Italian salads to enjoy family-style with your sandwich. Our friends from Fra’ Mani will be present to sample a variety of salami and cured meats and since fall in Michigan is the perfect time for cider\, we’re excited to welcome JK’s Farmhouse Cider to bring you samples of hard cider and switchel (non-alcoholic). \nBut wait\, there’s more to celebrate! Our bragging rights from the Morty Sando contest win also brings in a $1500 donation from Fra’ Mani to Food Gatherers.
