Meet the Maker: Sweet Grass Dairy

With over 30 national and international awards for their cheeses, Sweet Grass Dairy is leading the way for cheesemakers from the American South. Their commitment to quality milk from barn-free cows, grazing on fresh grass year-round in Thomasville, Georgia comes through in their range of cheeses from fresh fluffy spreads to aged piquant blues. In this Meet the Maker event, our Deli Event Coordinator Tessie Ives-Wilson will be joined by Jessica Little, who owns Sweet Grass Dairy with her husband Jeremy. They will talk about the dairy, cheese selection and guide you through a tasting of a variety of Sweet Grass Dairy cheeses (including our very favorite Green Hill and a few brought in just for this event!). We’ll also have some special treats to accompany the cheeses in your kit – including a salami made with one of the Sweet Grass Dairy blue cheeses!

LOGISTICS:

• The Zoom link will be mailed to you at least 2 days before the event
• Your tasting kits will be ready for pickup or delivery the day before the event.  If you chose shipping, you will receive your order ahead of the event.  You will be emailed with more specific information
