Wake up and smell the bacon, and eat it too, at this one time only special event at Zingerman’s downtown art deco event space, Greyline. Cooking instructor and James Beard Award winning author Molly Stevens and Zingerman’s Delicatessen chef Rodger Bowser will partner up in the kitchen to create a bodacious brunch buffet with a bit of bacon flair.
The recipes will be adapted from Molly’s latest cookbook, All About Dinner: Simple Meals, Expert Advice. The Atlantic, Washington Post and NPR all declared it one of the “Best Cookbooks of 2019”. The smell alone will be worth getting out of bed for, but the flavors are going to knock your slippers off! Brunch will also include mimosas, coffee and juice. A cash bar and Molly’s cookbooks will be available for an additional cost.
This event is part of Zingerman’s 11th annual Camp Bacon®, a 5-day food learning and tasting experience that supports the Southern Foodways Alliance, Washtenaw County 4-H and the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County. You can choose just one event or join them all including the Main Event featuring an all-day line-up of captivating guest speakers and a menu of scrumptious bacon bites, as well as the Bacon Ball dinner, Bacon Film Festival, Bacon Street Fair, tastings, classes, and more. It is a food camp that satisfies your mind as much as your taste buds. Don’t get us wrong, you will leave having tasted a lot of bacon, but we are there to share the story behind it. This unique bacon opportunity only comes once a year, so don’t miss it!
*$20 from each ticket will be donated to Southern Foodways Alliance
