We’re California Dreamin’!

It’s mid winter here in Michigan and we’re California dreamin’, thinking of a place where the grass is still green and the sun is still shining. If you can’t get to California this month (or any place warmer) stop by the Deli and make believe with us by tasting your way through our broad selection of traditional and full flavored foods from California. We have some new cheeses to celebrate and a few of the usual suspects that are tasting delicious right now too.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Celebrate the folks you love with sweet gifts. Our chocolate specialist has hand-selected the creme de la creme of chocolate and confections. Stop by the Next Door to peruse our selection (and taste some of it too).

February is the last month for Pot Pie Season at the Deli. So stock up on your favorite pies before they’re gone until next year. We’ve got the entire line up of your favorite handmade pot pies: featuring turkey from Harnois and Son Farm, beef from Ernst Farm, free-range Amish chicken, Tamworth Hog raised in Washtenaw Co., mushrooms from Tantré Farm, and lamb from Hannewald Farm.

Mid-month begins the annual spring sale on meats and cheeses. There will be big discounts on a great selection so check back mid-month for the list of what’s on sale. And, remember to stop by the dry goods aisle at the Deli for deep discounts on our favorite Balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy. All ages from 6 year to 30 year are on sale for our annual Balsamic Blowout. The Balsamic Blowout ends Feb. 28th.

Here’s some great news to kick off 2014! Place a catering order for pick up or delivery, and get your next order of equal or lesser value half off. Order what you’d like–bag lunches on Monday, lasagna on Wednesday or whatever else you have in mind, and you’ll get half off the lesser order. This offer is good for orders that are picked up or delivered from January through the end of February, so call and order as many times as you’d like.

It’s Pot Pie season at Zingerman’s Catering!  We’ve combined the warm, buttery goodness of our housemade Zingerman’s Deli Pot Pies with the crowd-pleasing convenience of our bag lunches to create the ultimate winter feast for your office – Zingerman’s Catering Pot Pie Bag Lunches.

Pick from a bevy of individual pot pies – there’s a flavor for every palette!  Each pie will be sent hot, with a tossed green salad, balsamic vinaigrette, a mini brownie, napkin and utensils.  All this for only $16.50 each!
