The 25th Anniversary “Black and Tan” is a blend of Mexican Chiapas, roasted slightly darker than usual and combined with a lighter roasted Rainforest Alliance certified coffee from Colombia. Six bags of the Anniversary blend coffee contain silver tickets. One lucky silver ticket recepient wins a pound of coffee each month for a year. Another winner receives breakfast with Paul and roastmaster Allen. Other prizes include a pound of coffee, a French press coffeemaker and a set of steak knives. In December 2006 I took my 3 year old son for a "guys night out" and he asked to eat at the Roadhouse. We sat in the chef's row of seats in the front and both Alex and Ari spent time with us. Not only did they bring us a sample of cheeses without asking, they paid special attention to my son. When he asked if he could have "ice cream with sprinkles" for dessert, Chef Alex not only made it for him personally, but also took him on a tour of the kitchen. He had never seen a refrigerator you could walk inside before and he was thrilled. It was a great way to enjoy a night out with my son. Bob G. Download:
