Just what the name says, Paul and Jaime from the Retail Department have gathered a list of staff favorites from the past and present. Be prepared for an eclectic tour de goodies; which may include olive oils, vinegar, cured hams, spices, artisanal bread, or maybe even caviar . You will be amazed! It doesn't get any better than this, I mean we get paid to eat all of it, so we have a pretty good idea of what we like.

One of the hardest chocolates to find in the United States, Amedei is known for their perfectionist approach to chocolate making. Family owned and located near Pisa in Tuscany, Amedei is one of those brands that you hear chocolate connoisseurs whispering about. We are very proud to carry this great Italian bean-to-bar chocolate at the Deli. The chocolate is understated, but overwhelmingly good.

We have a long tradition of great candy making (and eating!) in the United States. In celebration of our American sweet tooth, we're going to taste eight great sweets from eight great states — including our own! Our tasting road-trip will include small-batch chocolate bars, creamy caramels, juicy pâte de fruit and decadent bonbons.

Local foods are on the tip of everyone's tongues these days, and we're proud to have local pasta-maker extraordinaire Monique Deschane of Al Dente pasta here for an evening of all things pasta. Come join us in honor of their 25 years of artful craftsmanship — learn about how it all started, and taste some delicious pasta recipes that have come out of our collaboration with them.

Pie! So simple, so symbolic, so...summer-y. Zingerman's Bakehouse makes some of the best pies in the land. Good enough to build a picnic around! Tart Cherry, sweet Blueberry, fluffy Coconut Cream, zesty Key Lime and syrup-y Pecan. We'll taste them all and learn about the history of this — the least pretentious, most delicious dessert in the American recipe book.
